Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is a unique landscape of towering sand dunes, some reaching up to 750 feet high. Located in southern Colorado, visitors can hike, sandboard, or simply marvel at the expansive dune field, set against the backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
