Terracotta Army

A collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.

The Terracotta Army is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. Discovered in 1974, this UNESCO World Heritage Site comprises thousands of life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots buried with the emperor to protect him in the afterlife. Each figure is unique, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of ancient Chinese artisans.
